There are so many niches available out there, but this one I must say is unique. Beef Jerky for an MLM company? Well, it worked out quite alright for the business to relaunch after closing in July 2016.
It was originally founded by Roger Ball and Donna Soffen in 2004. Relaunched by Daniel Jay in 2016. It has been in the business of making high-quality jerky before it officially became a multi-level marketing company.
It’s quite nice that they are not entirely basing the commissions on recruiting and you won’t need to host home parties!
I couldn’t find much information and accurate facts about this company, and I was frustrated throughout writing this review. Even so, I tried my best to give you all that you needed to know.

There is no cost to join Jerky Direct and I've read in a review that the company doesn't even mind if you are part of another MLM.
However, there is an annual fee of $14 for your contract renewal.
And if you want to leave you'll be free to do so, because they don't require such unnecessary fees before you cut ties with them. Some networking companies have unreasonable cancellation fees before you can leave!
Also, as a Representative you are entitled to the following perks:

- purchase at wholesale prices and sell it at retail price
Compensation Plan
Usually, MLM's offer as little as 20% to 50% percentage of commission you can earn from directly selling their products. But this one's different.
For every product you successfully sold, you are entitled to a flat $5. This applies to all product packs even whatever the price.

Ugly Truths Revealed
There is no perfect business. They all have their flaws but it doesn't mean you wouldn't find anything to like about it. This category is just to let you know about the things you might find bothersome.
We all wanted to be sure of the company we'd invest our money at because it just doesn't stop at that. Were not just giving out enrollment fees and wait for it to magically bloom with overflowing profits. We don't only invest money, but time and effort.
Sometimes it's okay to lose a dollar or two, but the most frustrating to waste is the time we allot and the perseverance and patience on something we put our trust to. but in the end, gave us nothing in return.

I have done my fair share of research regarding Jerky Direct and I am deeply disappointed. I searched through Google to find their main website and to my misfortune, I didn't encounter anything that pleased me.

I also checked at BBB if the official website of Jerky Direct is included there, and brought me to the same site.
This is also on the first page of my search “jerky direct official website”: http://jerky.bz/
If you look through it, it's not as appealing and informative as most detailed MLM company websites out there like Nevetica, or Zurvita. They will provide you information about who they are, what they offer, and how they can help you.
But the Jerky Direct website isn't even halfway done. Truly disappointing. How do I expect this company to cater to people interested in their product or opportunity?
They don't even have a proper page to lay-out the products they are selling. This is a major red flag right here.
Not BBB accredited
Needless to say, a company that's not accredited by Better Business Bureau, means that it's not a legitimate company.
Still, being recognized by it gives the business an edge and automatically gives potential customers the confidence to trust them.
Pricey Products!
Compared to store-bought jerky, they are offering quite an expensive jerky. If you don't mind purchasing jerky for that cost, then why not?
But I have to be reasonable on this one. $21?
Let's say the quality is worth the price, and so does the taste, but as a snack? It's not for me. I'd love to be practical and consume good food at a reasonable price as well.

History of Shutting Down
After operating for years, this company had closed down sometime in 2016. Doesn't it alarm you even a little? Sure, it was relaunched a few months after closing down. Good thing it did, but what if it won't?
Or let's say, what if it suddenly shuts down again?
Do you know the saying that once you get to do something you thought was hard, you can do it easier next time?
I'm not hoping it will but there are chances that this company may do it again. Who knows?
No Complaints But No Positive Reviews Either
It's not surprising if I can't find anything that will inform me if the products are even worth the price. Or if they have been successfully helped by Jerky Direct to achieve the number of income they're aiming for.
I couldn't even find a decent website of Jerky Direct, how much more a few reviews about their products and opportunity?
What I Like About Jerky Direct
USDA Certified!
It may not be accredited by BBB or other business organizations but I think it's USDA Certified.
You may doubt the business model but the quality of the product, no. You will be certain that it's free of synthetic additives and it's certified organic! Even before Jerky Direct became an MLM company, it's already producing high-quality jerky!
Simple Compensation Plan
Of all the networking companies that I've encountered, Jerky Direct is by far the only one with a less complicated compensation plan.
Others gave me a headache before I could comprehend how an option to earn was supposed to happen.
Gladly, at this time it was easier to understand.
No Quotas To Hit Or Maintain
You know how some MLM company requires you to purchase an inventory of products you need to sell a third of it by the end of some period. Others would ask you to make a sale with a corresponding quota you need to hit in a month or so.
Also, there are personal volumes you need to maintain overtime to keep your rank in a certain level and hit more numbers just to level-up.
Since their compensation plan is easy to comprehend, their requirements aren't complicated as well. It's not entirely pressuring you to build a battalion of downline!
And not most MLM does that.
Unfortunately. I couldn't find anything more to like about this business. I haven't had the chance to consume their product and would not dare to. $21 for a snack? I can buy a good meal from that, to be honest. Besides, there are other available jerkies on local stores I can buy for a much cheaper price in case I crave for one.
Also, of all the reviews I have written lately, this one was frustrating. I had to go over so many websites and get confused by the information I've read. Moreover, I couldn't seem to find the facts I've been looking for.
Is Jerky Direct A Scam?
Despite the obvious fact that, this company had stood for some years already hints that it's not a scam.
Its relaunch seemed to prove that this company is worth to be revived and had somehow paved its way in the industry of MLM.
There are quite many red flags that can't be ignored. Thus, I will never recommend this company. It's not that I hate jerky or the business model. Overall, being realistic, becoming a part of this company can only be ideal for people who can truly benefit from it.
